TWO-TIME Bathurst 1000 winner Will Davison has been locked in to make his Bathurst 6 Hour debut.

The Shell V-Power Racing Team pilot will spend his Easter weekend sharing a BMW M3 alongside good mate Tim Leahey and Beric Lynton in the production car classic.

“I spent the race last year in the pit bunker with Bez and Tim and really enjoyed it,” says Davison.

“I think it’s a great opportunity. I’m excited about it, I think we’ll have a good shot at the race and I’m really thankful for the opportunity.”

It’s already been announced that two-time Supercars champion Marcos Ambrose will make a one-off return to the Mountain to share a Garry Rogers Motorsport-built Ford Mustang with George Miedecke.

Leahey and Lynton finished runners-up in last year’s 6 Hour in a BMW M3 and won the race in 2019 (there was no race in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic).
