AS excitement builds to a fresh era of Supercars racing in New Zealand, the DNA of the country’s previous flagship track is being brutally wiped.
It became clear earlier this week that demolition works at Pukekohe Park Raceway had begun.
The popular North Island circuit hosted Supercars in various seasons between 2001 and 2022, before closing to motorsport last year.
Leading New Zealand motorsport photographer Tayler Burke yesterday captured images of Pukekohe before it’s gone for good.
Supercars will return to NZ next month for the inaugural ITM Taupō Super400.
