GREG and Ronan Murphy are in for a special Sydney experience, with the duo to take one another for passenger laps this week.
First, Ronan will take his famous father for a spin around Sydney Motorsport Park in his #77 Porsche Sprint Challenge entry.
Then, four-time Bathurst 1000 winner Greg will hop behind the wheel of a Gen3 Supercar, with Ronan sitting by his side.
It will all happen this Friday afternoon as part of a broadcast segment for the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.
Ronan will be competing on the event’s undercard as SMP hosts Round 3 of the second-tier Porsche season.
He’s coming off a last-start win at Symmons Plains and is running second overall to countryman Marco Giltrap.
It won’t be Ronan’s first Supercars experience this month, either, having been treated to a Super2 passenger lap in Townsville driven by housemate and Walkinshaw Andretti United protégé Ryan Wood.
Greg meanwhile is not short on Supercars mileage in the past 12 months.
He teamed up with Richie Stanaway for a 2022 Bathurst 1000 wildcard – and sampled the Gen3 Camaro prototype at the event – before re-entering retirement from Supercars competition.
More recently, he reunited with his old Sprint Gas Racing Holden VE Commodore at Brands Hatch.
