Supercars drivers turn laps at Taupō

FIVE Supercars drivers have headed across the ditch to cut laps at Taupō Motorsport Park ahead of racing there next month.

Among them are PremiAir Racing’s Tim Slade and James Golding, who have got an early look at the North Island circuit in Toyota 86 machinery.

It’s a similar story for Dick Johnson Racing’s Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale, while Brad Jones Racing’s Jaxon Evans has spent time aboard a NZV8 TLX car.

The inaugural ITM Taupō Super400 takes place on April 19-21, representing Round 3 of the Repco Supercars Championship.

More drivers could yet visit the precinct in the coming days in preparation for the event.
