Teammates Thomas Randle and Declan Fraser are also at the circuit and may drive later in the day.

Grove Racing, which unveiled its Penrite Racing colours late last week, also has its first car on track.

Matt Payne was installed for its maiden run while teammate David Reynolds and star co-driver signing Garth Tander are also set to turn laps.

Today’s track action comes a week after the Blanchard Racing Team became the first Supercars squad to run a Gen3 race car.

BRT returned to Winton for a test day on Tuesday as Dick Johnson Racing and Matt Stone Racing had their first outings at Queensland Raceway.

Triple Eight and PremiAir Racing are set to join DJR and MSR at the Ipswich venue tomorrow, while others will run for the first time next week.

That includes Erebus Motorsport, which this morning unveiled its Coca-Cola livery using Supercars’ prototype Camaro.
