Triple Eight’s Adelaide Holdens become collectables

THE special one-off livery carried by the Red Bull Ampol Racing team to mark the final appearance of Holden in the Supercars Championship at last year’s VALO Adelaide 500 is being celebrated by a range of new model cars.

Both the #1 car of Supercars Champion Shane van Gisbergen and the #88 car that Broc Feeney drove to victory in the final race on the Sunday in Adelaide are available to pre-order now from the V8 Sleuth Superstore here.

Produced by Biante Model Cars, the #1 van Gisbergen car comes in 1:12, 1:18 and 1:43 scale, whereas the #88 Feeney car comes in 1:18 and 1:43 scale only.

The 1:12 and 1:18 van Gisbergen models come with a 1:18 scale replica of the Supercars Championship trophy.

The livery was a one-off paying tribute to Holden’s time in the sport and with the team.
