ADELAIDE will welcome back the sound of a V10-powered Formula 1 beast roaring through the city’s streets next year.
The Adelaide Motorsport Festival has announced the 2000-spec Benetton B200 will feature at the 2024 event, on March 16-17.
The model was raced by Giancarlo Fisichella and Alexander Wurz, with the former taking a trio of podiums at Brazil, Monaco and Canada en route to sixth in the world championship.
Fisichella, a future three-time grand prix winner, returned to Adelaide last year as a guest star of the S5000 Tasman Series.
The Benetton B200 has been added to the 2024 Adelaide Motorsport Festival promotional poster, along with a Mazda 767B, Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 and Yamaha YZR 500.
Event organisers are set to announce more famed cars, and drivers, in the coming months.
