DUNLOP Super3 Series young gun Cameron McLeod shone in a different kind of beast last weekend, lapping Sydney Motorsport Park in a stunning 1:27.8705s aboard a new MARC GT car.
McLeod was sharing the #66 entry with John Goodacre at the Shannons Trophy Series event and set the time during the MARC Cars Australia qualifying session.
For reference, the Supercars qualifying record at SMP is only a fraction faster: Scott McLaughlin’s 1:27.7428s from 2020.
