GREG Murphy winds the clock back to 1981 to remember the first of 10 all-time Bathurst Shootout efforts being celebrated in a Repco-backed video series.
Murphy, of course, is well versed on the topic having famously delivered the ‘Lap of the Gods’ during the 2003 Bathurst 1000 Top 10 Shootout.
The 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000 marks the 60th anniversary of the first Great Race at Mount Panorama.
