$5 million home up for grabs at Mount Panorama

YOU could be watching next year’s Repco Bathurst 1000 trackside from the comfort of your own luxury home.

A rare chance has come up to purchase one of the properties that sit alongside the Mount Panorama circuit, with 457 Conrod Straight set to head to auction.

The seven-bedroom home sits on a five-acre estate adjacent to the dip in the iconic straight, which can be viewed from the large front patio.

OUTLOOK: Weather forecast for Bathurst 1000 race week

SCHEDULE: 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000

Listed with Raine & Horne Bathurst, the home features an open-plan kitchen, dining and family area with a separate living room, a chef’s kitchen outfitted with high-end appliances and a butler’s pantry.

The home also has an indoor courtyard, while the large front patio includes a loggia with built-in seating and an open fireplace.

It also features an indoor 15m lap pool, plus a separate guest cottage on the grounds that has its own laundry list of opulent features.

According to the Western Advocate, Raine & Horne has had international interest in the property and is expecting it to fetch in the order of $5 million.

Whoever purchases the home will have a Bathurst enduro-winning neighbour; two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Kenny Habul purchased the property two doors down at 489 Conrod Straight back in 2020.
