Offered for sale is this Brad Jones Racing-built V8 Supercar Ford Falcon from the team’s memorable OzEmail era of racing in the V8 Supercars Championship.
This chassis finished on the podium in the 2004 Bathurst 1000 with Brad Jones and John Bowe driving and has been restored back to this livery as the #12 black OzEmail car.
It won a non-championship V8 Supercar race at the 2005 Australian Grand Prix in Bowe’s hands in Team BOC livery as part of a team 1-2 finish.
This car offered for sale is chassis BJR 06, one of six Falcon V8 Supercars the team built and raced in the category (the team’s BA/BF Falcons were chassis 03, 04, 05, 06 and 07 and the team built an AU known as 02).
Raced by John Bowe as the black OzEmail car in the 2004 championship, as a BOC car in 2005 and 2006 and then Andrew Jones in 2007.
This car comes with a huge amount of spares, including 18 wheels, a host of panels, loads of mechanicals, new diff housing, platters, bumpers, all-new side skirts.
The car has been serviced with just an hour of on-track running since this service.
Also included in the sale is BJR team wear, shirts, jackets and Brad Jones’ OzEmail race suit as worn on the podium at Bathurst in 2004. A 1:18 scale model of the car with its authentic paperwork and original box is included.
