BROCK HRT COMMODORE ON THE MARKET

The King’s 1995/1996 V8 factory racer attracts attention …

THE Holden Racing Team Commodore driven by Peter Brock during 1995 and 1996 has just been placed up for sale.

Just listed on the V8 Sleuth website and advertised in the new Racing Sleuth marketplace section of Australian Muscle Car Magazine Issue 79 (out before Christmas), the ex-Brock car is on the market for the first time in over a decade.

Driven by Brock and Tomas Mezera at the 1995 Tooheys 1000 at Bathurst, the car – HRT chassis 032 – is being offered for sale for the first time since leaving the ownership of HRT.

It includes period correct HRT, 18 degree Chevrolet V8 engine and period correct, six-speed Holinger gearbox and, most importantly, the CAMS log book.

This car was used by Brock to win the 1995 Peter Brock Classic at Calder Park in Melbourne and was driven by the ‘King of the Mountain’ in 1996 as in the Australian Touring Car Championship, including victory in the last round at Oran Park.

V8 Supercar fans will also remember this car as being the Holden Young Lions car of Jason Bargwanna, Mark Noske and Stephen White from the 1997 season.

Expressions of interest are being sought with full contact details and information available on the V8 Sleuth website at the following link.
