BRT debut for ex-Tickford Gen3 Mustang

A TICKFORD Racing-built Gen3 Mustang Supercar will make its first appearance for the Blanchard Racing Team next month.

As both squads moved to two-car main game structures in 2024 following a Teams Racing Charter reshuffle, Tickford sold its TR-27 chassis to BRT.

TR-27 was the car which Declan Fraser campaigned last year.

With BRT sticking 2024 drivers James Courtney and Aaron Love in its two Fords built in-house, the ex-Fraser Ford is its spare car.

However, it won’t be long until its first run under BRT’s watch, with V8 Sleuth learning TR-27 will be the car James Courtney drives at the upcoming Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

Courtney’s passenger for the occasion will be none other than his former Jaguar F1 team principal Guenther Steiner.

That outing will come on the afternoon of March 16, five days before Courtney hops back into BRT002 for Round 2 of the Repco Supercars Championship at Albert Park.
