Anton De Pasquale has been disqualified from today’s second leg of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 due to a technical breach.
Car #11 was found to have breached the minimum tyre pressure regulations during the 250km race.
De Pasquale had taken the chequered flag in 10th position having pitted under a late Safety Car for fresh tyres.
“After the Race and following admission by Racing Team (Aust) Pty Ltd that during a Pit Stop for Car 11, the incoming rear left tyre on the Car was below the minimum pressure of 17psi when fitted, the Stewards imposed the recommended minimum penalty of disqualification from Race 32 on Car 11, Anton De Pasquale,” read the stewards report.

The ruling demotes De Pasquale to fifth in the standings, now 22 points behind Shell V-Power Racing teammate Will Davison.
Davison finished Race 32 behind Shane van Gisbergen and Chaz Mostert, who had dislocated his shoulder earlier in the day.
