GRAHAM Sattler is the newest addition to the ranks of the Australian Racing Group.
The former CAMS Operations Manager joined the organisation recently and will work with Liam Curkpatrick and Ken Collier on the management of a range of ARG’s categories including Touring Car Masters, Trans Am, V8 Touring Cars and GT World Challenge Australia.
Sattler brings a wealth of motorsport administrative experience to his role at ARG.
He first popped up in Australian motorsport in the early 2000s as Marcos Ambrose’s business manager having joined the ‘Devil Racer’ following a stint with Red Bull, an Ambrose personal sponsor of the period.
Sattler and Ambrose joked at the time that the former’s job title was ‘Business Co-Driver’, a label that stuck!
He joined PWR Racing in late 2005 as Sponsorship Manager and spent just over three years with the team through to the end of its final season in V8 Supercars in 2008.
From there Sattler joined Brad Jones Racing in Albury as Sponsorship Communications Manager for nearly seven years and joined CAMS (now Motorsport Australia) as Operations Manager, including of the Shannons Nationals, for just over four years.
The next Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships round, featuring ARG’s SpeedSeries categories of TCR Australia, S5000, Touring Car Masters and Trans Am, is at Sydney Motorsport Park on May 27-29.
