Lansvale Holden Commodore V8 Supercar – Dencar 03

For sale is the ex-Lansvale VN Group A Holden Commodore – Dencar 03

The car was originally built in 1990/91 ready for the 1991 Shell Australian Touring Car Championship. Always a fan favourite, driven by Steve Reed and Trevor Ashby all through the 91, 92 & part way through the 93 season.

It is likely to be one of the most memorable of the 11 VN Group As built for racing with full race and ownership history.

After changing hands through a couple of local teams, Dencar 03 was purchased by a race car driver in Germany and spent about 15 years abroad before returning to Australia 10 years ago. While in Germany, the car was converted to LHD, yet did minimal racing.

This car is without doubt, the most unmolested VN Group A Commodore, still running its original 8 throttle bodied Holden 304 V8, 5 speed Holinger H-pattern Gearbox and Camber Wedged, Panhard Bar Differential. It still has its evidence of minor bumps and scrapes, warts and all.

The car has had some minor changes while overseas but comes with most, if not all of the original components to be able to turn it back to exactly how it was running around in the 91/92 SATCC seasons as a VN Group A Holden Commodore.

Car also comes with 3 sets of genuine original HRT wheels, various spares, all of its original log books and full racing photo collection.
